Recievership

The appointment of a receiver is an equitable remedy that provides the Judge in a case to protect and preserve assets during a legal dispute.  Settling legal disputes is challenging.  A neutral third-party receiver appointed by the court is uniquely qualified to assist in reaching a settlement in that the receiver has an opportunity to understand the parties involved as well as the assets at issue, including but not limited to a business operation, commercial real estate or a loan.  The ability to expedite a settlement saves all parties involved both time and money.
